Last year, the Oakley Men’s Shed renovated our telephone box and turned it into our Village Library.  The renovation involved a huge amount of work, from painting the phone box to building a new bookcase for the books.

 

We will be holding a village drinks party to thank the Men’s Shed team for all of their hard work between 5pm and 7pm on Friday 3rd September at the Buds Floristry Barn beside the phone box.  Please join us, if you can.  If you are driving, please park in front of the church or at the Barn Nursery, so that the farm entrance is clear.
